One of my favourite pastimes (when I have the time) is to get out with the camera and get amongst some of our marvellous wildlife. Of course it is a hit and miss affair: I recently had a round trip of around 9 hours plus another 4 in the hide, and saw nothing, That’s the chance you take. No guarantees. But when these beautiful birds and mammals appear, and you see them in their native habitat in their stunning glory, it really gives me a warm, contented feeling, and a feeling of thanksgiving to the One who created them
